Abstract
Society is a collection of people with different levels, interests, tendencies, and different thoughts. In order to achieve their goals, people need to have a constructive interaction with each other. Therefore, despite the existence of differences that naturally arise in collective life, we must look for commonalities, social tolerance, Maintaining harmony and unity was one of the most important aspects of social capital. Social capital is measured by the sense of solidarity or empathy with others, which is one of the most important elements of social life. Agreement, unity and solidarity, despite all the differences that exist in human society, guarantee the life of a nation and a school.This research has determined with a descriptive and analytical method that in the statements of Imam Ali (a.s.) what preserves social ties are indicators such as brotherhood and brotherhood of faith, and paying attention to any tribalism, prejudice and racism are among the most important factors that reduce the cohesion of human society and capital. It severely erodes the society.
