Abstract
The era of Imam Shafi'i - may God have mercy on him - was comparable to six of the Abbasid caliphs and two of the Sunni imams and two of the Imams of the , The formation of the Abbasid Caliphate and the expansion of the territory of the Islamic world became the platform for the occurrence of social and political events. Meanwhile, Sunni scholars and jurists found a good opportunity to compile hadith and jurisprudence. The era of Shafi'i - may God have mercy on him - was a sensitive and important era in terms of the emergence and growth of various jurisprudential and theological currents, because the conflict and variety of thoughts and ideas created a deep and extensive change in the Islamic world. With his dynamic and progressive thoughts and beliefs and his political and jurisprudential stances, Shafi'i led different Islamic schools from extremism to extremism and moderation. It can be said that his political and jurisprudential stances are generally based on an approximate and historical approach; It caused the convergence of Sunni religions with other religions. Therefore, investigating various aspects of the political and jurisprudential life of Shafi'i in order to provide an efficient approximate model, it will be effective to a large extent in adjusting and correcting the harsh and extreme stances existing at that time and in the present era. . This article tries to analyze the approximate approach of Shafi'i in the field of political and jurisprudence issues with a descriptive and analytical method, and the era of Abbasid caliphs contemporary with Shafi'i - may God have mercy on him - and the political efforts and ideological differences of contemporary Sunni and Shia imams. Shafi'i - may God have mercy on him - read with the Abbasid government.
