Abstract
The Qur'an is a common source of religious knowledge between Shiites and Sunnis. This source of revelation is considered as the most important factor in the approximation between religions, and according to Qataba Muslims, it is immune from verbal distortion and It is spiritual. Because there is not much difference between the views of Shia and Sunni in the interpretation of the Qur'an. Therefore, approximate approaches have been acceptable among Shiites both in the past and today, and this approach has been considered as a tool for Qur'an commentators. Therefore, interpretation with an approximate approach to prefer the expediency of Islam and fundamental religious teachings over the expediency of other religions and differences is of special importance. Therefore, the characteristic of a close-minded exegesis is not criticizing or quoting the opinions of other religions in the exegesis. Rather, it is important to pay attention to common points, avoid controversial topics, and use the traditions of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.), Companions, and followers in interpretation. This article, with a documentary method and a descriptive method, is an analysis that tries to explain approximate interpretation in a structure consisting of nature, necessity and indicators, and at the same time, it includes similarities and differences with adaptive interpretation in several axes; It discusses the scope, sources, foundations and method. This work has been prepared and organized with the aim of achieving a correct interpretation of the Holy Quran, bringing together and unity among Muslims, and promoting and expanding the goals of religion in Islamic societies.
