Abstract
The miraculous and wise order of the Quran, which is manifested in the arrangement of words, phrases, and verses, sometimes causes ambiguity in the apparent meaning of the verses. understand the meanings of the verses and provide a more accurate interpretation. Given this, the issue of the precedence and delay of verses has long been of interest to Quranic scholars and commentators. "Ruh al-Ma'ani fi Tafsir al-Quran" by Mahmoud ibn Abdullah al-Alusi is the most extensive and comprehensive commentary among Sunnis. This commentary is comprehensive of the views and opinions of previous commentators. Among other commentaries, "Al-Mizan fi Tafsir al-Quran" by Tabataba'i is one of the most important Shiite commentaries of the present era, which is written based on the method of interpreting the Quran by the Quran. In addition to presenting new perspectives in Quranic sciences, Tabataba'i and Alusi have also raised new discussions that are unique in their own way. This research has introduced and compared Tabataba'i's and Alusi's perspectives on the issue of preposition and delay; in the conceptual field. The results of this research are the comparison and analysis of the approach of these two commentators in dealing with preposition and delay, which, considering the meaning and removing ambiguity of the verses, they propose a more correct concept of the verse and on this basis, sometimes reject the opinions of other scholars and sometimes accept them. This is while if preposition and delay have occurred in the verse and help to understand the meaning of the verse or to express a point, that reason is discussed by these two commentators. Tabataba'i is very little influenced by the opinions of other commentators and mostly expresses his own opinion independently; However, Alosi was more influential than Tabataba'i in accepting the opinions of other commentators.
