Apart from guiding people towards the right path in life, the Holy Quran also sheds light on various obscure phenomena. These phenomena may include historical events or important figures from the past. For instance, in verse 102 of Surah Al-Baqarah, the Quran describes the dawn during an important event that occurred during the time of Hazrat Suleiman (AS). This article aims to analyze this verse and categorize the Quranic approach to dealing with witchcraft, based on the interpretations of different parties, in order to emphasize the correct approach. The research method used here is descriptive and analytical. The analysis reveals that the tension that arose during Suleiman's era regarding the issue of magic had three main causes. Firstly, the inability to comprehend the concept of miracles and divine permission. Secondly, the prevalence of magic during Suleiman's time. Thirdly, the initial deviations of the Torah. To explain this issue, the Quran highlights four key points: 1) It specifies the position of the devils. 2) It mentions their disbelief. 3) It explains the reason for sending two angels. 4) It highlights God's permission as the missing link for the Jews.
