The focus of this research is the analysis of the religious policies of the Islamic Republic era with an emphasis on the components of religious convergence and divergence in Kermanshah province. The main question in this research is to explain the effective components of religious convergence and divergence in Kermanshah province. This article is based on descriptive method. An analysis has been prepared and the findings of the research are as follows that the most important drivers of divergence in the environment are the close connections of divergent religious and ethnic currents and the role of these currents in the environmental attraction of public opinion towards Salafi, Takfiri, and Jihadi concepts. Divergent religious active currents In the grand strategies, he has emphasized the fundamentals of extreme Salafism in the form of spreading the true Islam he considers, and in the face of divergent ethnic currents, in spite of having close connections with his rival currents, he seeks territorial integration and the formation of a unified Kurdish government with other neighboring lands. It is transnational and ethnic, it seems that the attractiveness of religion has more power of attraction than ethnicity in the eyes of public opinion. Appropriate response to the demands of religions in the context of ethnicities leads to convergence and lack of attention causes religious divergence, considering the importance of religion. and its role in the geography of ethnicity, researchers have investigated the performance of the system in the process of religious convergence and divergence in the province.
