The dignity of the soul is a topic of interest in anthropology, which is also mentioned in the Holy Quran, and specifically in the phrase "We have honored the children of Adam" in verse 70 of Surah Al-Isra. Interpreters have different understandings of this verse, and in explaining its examples, they have put forward various perspectives, such as the pure nature of man, the superiority of the human race over other creatures, including his superiority over angels, the granting of reason and soul to man, and purity after death. In this research, which was conducted by collecting information through a library method and a descriptive-analytical study, it was determined that the dignity discussed in this verse is of an inherent type and is a moral attribute for human growth and perfection. The application of the word "son of Adam" only to "believers" is contrary to the appearance of the verse, and all human beings are absolutely included in this inherent and natural human essence. Respect for all human beings, regardless of any racial, gender, religious, ethnic, or religious distinction, is always emphasized as a fundamental principle in Islam. All instances of dignity are under the heading of divine gifts, which are of two types: material and spiritual, and include things such as giving the soul, intellect, and subjugating creatures for humans.
