Ibn Kathir is the name of Sunni commentators, whose Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Azeem is considered one of the narrative commentaries, and in it there are many commentary narrations from the Companions and followers. Investigations show that among these hadiths, he has also quoted some hadiths from the leaders of the Imamiyyah, including those of the Sadiqs, while explaining the interpretations of the verses, the number of which reaches 22 in the interpretation of Surah Al-Hamd and Al-Baqarah. By examining these narrations, seven types of commentary narrations from Sadiqin were identified, which are: explanation of the word, explanation of the verse, criticism of the Israelites, explanation of the reading of the verse, the reason for the revelation and the Quranic supplications. In sum, the results of this research, which was conducted in a descriptive-analytical way and with a library review, indicate a critical approach by Ibn Kathir in narrating the hadiths of Sadiq. In such a way that sometimes he criticizes the text of these hadiths and sometimes he criticizes the text of these hadiths.
